Lies That Kill

A new internal report by the inspector general of the EPA says White House Told E.P.A. to Lie in Response to 9/11

The draft of the inspector general's report also says the agency "did not have sufficient data and analyses" to make a "blanket statement" when it announced seven days after the attack that the air around ground zero was safe to breathe.
While the White House might say this was just a panicked response to the attack, Krugman notes in a column that this lying about scientific data permeates the White House approach on the environment in general (as in so many areas).

And the result may be deadly, as with reports of the real harms from 911: say this headline-
TOXIC FALLOUT SLASHED INFANTS' BIRTH WEIGHT.

Lies upon lies upon lies from this White House.
