Trackback PingsTrackBack URL for this entry: CommentsInteresting, because the "Meatrix" video isn't actualy pro-vegetarian, it's pro-family farm. Posted by: Luke Francl at November 6, 2003 11:19 PM True. Of course, going veg is the easiest way to avoid factory-farmed meat. Here's a reason for Nathan to go vegetarian: most factory farmers and ranchers are republicans, whereas those vegetable sellers at the local farmers market are all democrats. :-) Posted by: Kevin Block-Schwenk at November 7, 2003 12:18 AM Heh. Posted by: Luke Francl at November 7, 2003 11:33 AM What's wrong with vegetarian types? Animal Liberation=Human Liberation! On a side note, as a labor person, I wouldn't support those meat companies for the same reason I don't buy Nike. Horrible labor practices! Horrible work environment. Has anyone ever set foot in a slaughterhouse? Blech. The Meatrix has a been hit a lot of people (omnivores and herbivores) that I know.
