I'm pro-trade, but Bush can't please anyone with a policy that encourages job loss at home and labor exploitation abroad. Kerry's "fair trade" position of promoting trade where possible, but pushing hard on labor and environmental standards to level the playing field between domestic and overseas production is far more of a winner in the present economic context.
