I've said this before, but I don't think the Left should be citing Kosovo as a noble example, since it helped provide the justification for the current Iraq war.

Clinton was cheered because the Albanians have ethnically cleansed the rest of the population. Then there's the fact that the war undermined our media institutions and forced the gov't to lie in order to shore up popular support. Oh, and there was also the fact that we could have started World War 3 twice (if you count the Clark/Jackson incident).

And that doesn't even count the fact that our ally in this war was Al Qaeda
