<< Jobless Economy | Main | Bushs Sell Out the Kurds for Third Time >> February 06, 2003Dossier-Gate-- Blair Plagiarized Anti-Iraq TextIf some of the arguments about the dangers of Iraq seem like an unconvincing, labored academic exercise, it's because they are. Apparently, the "Iraq Dossier"-- Tony Blair's early attempt at an "Adlai moment" was plagiarized from a graduate student who published a piece in a small journal, the Middle East Review of International Affairs. From a story from Britain's Channel 4: A section, for example, six paragraphs long, on Saddam's Special Security Organisation, the exact same words are in the Californian student's paper. We really aren't dealing here with real facts, just conjecture and strong power point presentations. And apparently even those are being plagiarized. Posted by Nathan at February 6, 2003 10:21 PM Related posts:
