<< Dean on MalPractice: Then and Now | Main | The Fog of War >> December 26, 2003Dean is OptimisticAtrios predicts that the new media meme (pumped by the GOP) will be that Dean is "pessimistic." Since Dean thinks he can get rid of Bush and solve our economic problems, I'd say that makes him optimistic. So I'd say this calls for a positive google bomb promoting the idea that Dean is optimistic. Update: Ezra insists that Dean is optimistic based on his biography, so why not google bomb both? Posted by: Kevin Block-Schwenk at December 26, 2003 02:10 PM A Google-bomb is when a lot of people link to a certain website using a word, such as "optimistic" in this example. Because of the way that Google works, after awhile, people who are searching for that word will find the website. For instance, searches on "miserable failure" and "unelectable" return as a top result the official bio of Bush from the White House website. I think that all Democrats have reason to be optimistic, not just Dean and his supporters. The president is an unelectable, miserable failure. Posted by: BudMan at December 26, 2003 07:07 PM Yes, spread the word that Bush is pessimistic and Dean is optimistic. I do that in my article, Howard Dean, the Optimist.
