Surveys show sometime in the next few years, Protestants will no longer be in the majority of the population. If you don't count the Mormons as Protestants, then the post-Luther denominations are already in the minority. Catholics make up another 25% of the population, but the radical shift in the last thirty years has been the population professing no religion, up to 14% by 2002. Other groups such as Muslims, Orthodox Christians, Buddhists and Hindus, rose quickly this past decade from 3% of the population in 1993 to 7% in 2002. So "In God We Trust", but Which One?
