US Blocks Cheap Drugs Deal
Dick Cheney just helped assure the mass death of disease sufferers throughout the developing world. Despite threats that failure to ease murderous intellectual property rules would derail the global trade round, the White House took its orders from the pharmaceutical industry and killed an (already weak) discount drug deal that almost all other countries were ready to agree upon.
