March 22- NYC Says No to War (Again)

This is the next rally by United for Peace and Justice in New York City, which will be a permitted march through the heart of the city. Bombs may or may not be falling on Bagdad by this point or it may be the last time to mobilize a firm NO TO WAR!

Saturday, 3/22, gather at noon
Midtown Manhattan

On Saturday, March 22, New York is marching to stop the war in Iraq! Join us for a massive and spirited march to support peace abroad and civil liberties at home, organized by United for Peace and Justice NYC.

This time around, the Mayor and the NYPD have pledged to respect our right to march. We are negotiating with the City over the route, which will be in Midtown Manhattan.

Stickers, posters, and leaflets are available at the new UFPJ office (same building, new floor):
330 West 42nd Street, 15th floor (between 8th & 9th Avenues)
(212) 603-3700

We are extremely grateful to SEIU 1199 for continuing to provide us with office space.

We Need Volunteers! Volunteer with UFPJ NYC by sending a blank email to nycvolunteers-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. You'll receive an average of one email per day, containing specific requests for volunteer assistance.
