Comments Not Working

Okay-- this is just odd.

Comments to old posts (of over a month) seem to get posted mostly okay -- a few exceptions, which is odd to itself, but mostly work.

But no new entries allow new comments, even though the counter says the comments are there. And I receive the comments in email form.

I'll try to figure this one out, but it's really a strange problem.
