BTW I like Dean

For those who think I've been too hard on Dean and not appreciative enough of his grassroots energy, they should remember that I've had quite kind things to say about him.

Back in January when most pundits were not taking him very seriously, I said he was seriously in contention. And I stressed his solid pro-labor credentials in that post.

I like Dean and I'm glad Dean folks are being newly energized, but all I'm demanding is a little humility from his partisans about who he's energized so far and the breadth of outreach he still needs to do to claim leadership of a broad-based progressive movement..
