Jon Stewart Sums up Davis

Emmy-winning Jon Stewart nailed why Dems in California are fighting to save Davis-- and holding their nose doing it. Quoting Davis on why he shouldn't be recalled for the deficit:

If you want to recall me because we had, past tense, a $38 billion deficit, then let's recall all 47 governors, Democrat and Republican, who also went to surplus and deficit, and let's recall the President of the United States, who went from the largest surplus to the largest deficit in America. What's fair is fair.
Said Stewart, "In that one statement we see the inherent paradox that is Gray Davis.

He's right...but he's a dick."
