Celebration

The California Nurses Association (CNA) and SEIU have agreed to work together on statewide legislation.

The press release announcing this is some of the best union news in years.

It is hard to explain the depths of warfare between CNA and SEIU in the last decade-- but the blood feud has repeatedly crippled joint efforts for health care reform and organizing rights.

So this is great, great news.
