Carl Pope Fires Back

The debate over the future of environmentalism is heating up! Carl Pope, Executive Director of the Sierra Club, has written a detailed, blistering response to Shellenberger and Nordhaus' "Death of Environmentalism." The Nation magazine also has a very interesting article about the debate -- it doesn't seem to be on their website yet, but it's available at Adam Werbach's November Third Theses site.
