Funding Undocumented Immigrant Care

The Bush administration does the right thing by providing additional health care funds for communities providing health care to undocumented immigrants.

Immigrants pay far more in taxes than they use in services, but the problem is that the taxes they pay go disproportionately to the federal government. So kicking some back to the states is the best way to take the edge off of anti-immigrant hysteria.

So credit where credit is due for Bush. A rare kudos.
