Congressman: Bomb Mecca

Rightwing Congressman Tom Tacredo (R-CO) said that if there is a serious terrorist attack, the US should "take out their holy sites."

But if his nuttery is bad, the response of the amen corner is worse. (Yes, the crazies are getting to me, so documenting their hate is a bit cathartic):

Thank God someone has had the GUTS to say it! Now let it be reported far and wide.

I second it, with one correction: it should be taken out during annual pilgrimage, when it is full, and not during an off-season.

You could target all mosques at noon and get all the fighters at one time. Fire Mission! Over!

The only thing I can think of that would truly shake these terrorists and their many, many financial supporters up, is to melt Mecca. It is their holy place, and their God would not let that happen if he were on their side.

The only thing these murderous savages understand is a BIG KABOOM!

A few of the posters recognize how sick their fellow rightwingers are on this point, but it's a scary measure of how many murderous crazies are out there on the conservative side.
