13 Million Threatened w/ Starvation
U.N. Fears Severe Africa Food Crisis. Nearly 13 million people in six southern African countries are at risk of starvation, a UN agency warns.
...We are dropping hundreds of billions of dollars into a defense establishment, while our government begrudges the few billion that could save millions of lives each year. Clean water, basic agriculture support, vaccination worldwide -- all had for pennies on the defense dollar.
