FBI Smeared Gov Reagan Opponents
In a San Francisco Chronicle article, new Freedom of Information suits have revealed that Feds Worked to Quash College Protests. As the article notes, "Those documents describe the sweeping nature of the FBI's activities and show they ranged far beyond the campus and into state politics as the agency plotted to end the career of UC President Clark Kerr while aiding Reagan's political career."
...It's useful to remember why the FBI was barred from domestic spying. It so easily merges into domestic subversion in its own right.
