Censorship of Government Web Sites

This White House verges on the edge of insanity in its censorship and partisanship impulses.

Check out this story from American Educational Research Association about new censorship guidelines issued for removing information from government web sites. The key statement in a memo issued to government agencies is that any information should be removed that "does not reflect the priorities, philosophies, or goals of the present administration.

Get rid of civil service protection so all federal employees have to toady to their superiors. Get rid of any information that might run counter to policy. This is dictatorial model of the Bush administration.
