I'm travelling down in the Big Easy on pleasure and work, so the lack of blog entries just reflects too much jazz and not enough time near my computer. Highly recommended :)

Welcome to Jazz Fest. Please be sure to enjoy some Crawfish Monica and the Pheasant, Quail and Andouille Gumbo in Food Area 2 (best food item at the Fair Grounds!). The Creole's stuffed bread, the Natchitoches meat pies and the cuban sandwich are also traditions. In Food Area 1 the big line on the left is for the Crawfish bread. It's kind of a mess; the smaller size is better to deal with and their other entree may be better. Their sausage bread is also very good. I also recommend the Oyster Artichoke soup, the seafood au gratin, spinach artichoke casserole and the cochon de lait po-boy. Be sure to go to the Congo Square area to wash this down with the strawberry lemonade and top off with a refreshing WWOZ mango freeze.

At least we know what your first headline will be when you get back: Americans Murder Iraqi Children. Thirteen of 'em this time.

As someone said recently about something else, "I'm shocked, but not surprised."

Have fun Nathan, N'orlen's is a great town. Wish I could find some time to get down there sometime. -Respetfully
