Cingular Takes AT&T Wireless- Good
I'm very glad that Cingular won the bid for AT&T Wireless. The SBC-dominated Cingular has a strong pro-union record where card check agreements have allowed thousands of workers to organize unions in the often non-union wireless sector, including in the South.
The parent union of wireless worker organizing, the Communication Workers of America, has a special web site called WirelessWorker.org with updates on campaigns throught the industry.
