Trackback PingsTrackBack URL for this entry: CommentsThanks for the link to labor canvas in NYT. I had a young woman come by my door about three weeks ago with the same group. She was well organized and made the case for joining the union advocacy group., I have to say: what took them so long? There are a ton of people like me running small businesses and free lance artist I work with who could benefit and be a benefit to unions. What is it with the union that they don't offer members in their advocacy group a benefits package? If Allstate can offer a package, why can't the AFL CIO? As part of my dues, I would gladly send an email and or call people about political issues of the day. My health insurance costs at Good Nature have gone up 30% a year. And I keep shopping for less and less coverage for me and my small staff. It is absurd! Keep up the good blogging. TSC
