House GOP Cuts Aid to Afghanistan

Unbelievable. We bomb the hell out of a country and the GOP still doesn't feel any responsibility for helping them rebuild. I opposed the Afghanistan war, not because I didn't think the Taliban was a despicable regime, but I didn't trust the GOP to be willing to spend as much helping Afghanis after the war as bombing them during it. I was unfortunately right.
