Baghdad and New Orleans- Failures of Planning

Hunger, looting, failure to restore power-- we've seen this before in Bafhdad when the Bush administration failed to have any plan in place to secure vulnerable facilities and protect them once they occupied the city.

The result was preventable chaos and the further destruction of facilities needed to maintain order.

This is an administration that understands how to kill, but not how to govern, how to bomb, but not how to provide food for the hungry. They fail the most basic tests of what it means to keep order or plan for emergencies.

And the fact that they can't seem to coordinate multiple agencies to provide relief in New Orleans is just reflective of their inability or unwillingness to work with the Democrats or other countries around the world.

And just as they put cronies like Halliburton in charge of security in Iraq, tthe Bush administration had incompetent yes men in charge of FEMA, people who obviously are in over their heads and no nothing about emergency prepardedness.

New Orleans-- brought to you by the same people who brought you chaos and looting in Baghdad,
