Why WorldCom Deserved to Die
I mentioned a couple of days ago my satisfaction at MCI/WorldCom's demise. Let me elaborate some more links on why the world will be a better place with its absence- or at least the elimination of its current management:
* MCI is a union busting anti-worker firm. See this ZNET article on the telecom industry
* Abandoning consumer service- (note that this 1998 report by the Communication Workers of America was far clearer on the financial speculation at WorldCom than the Wall Street boys.)
* Servicing the prison-industrial complex with overpriced phone calls for prisoners
