Right Outraged at Dem Scandalmongering
National Review Online is shocked, shocked that Dems would use a front group to undermine a sitting President. The group in question is called American Family Voice and also runs a site called The Daily Enron. The organization is mostly funded by major labor unions
The side story on the committee is that it is connected to the emerging Progressive Donor Network, which in the wake of McCain-Feingold, will likely be coordinating most of the large union and progressive fundraising at the grassroots. See this New Republic piece bemoaning the rise of this Labor-Enviro-Feminist network as strengtheing the progressive voice in the Democratic Party. Could all be a taste of good things to come.
