Why is Bush Lobbying for M$oft

Maybe it shouldn' be surprising after Ashcroft's sweetheart deal with Microsoft over antitrust issues, but now Bush's Ambassor to Peru is lobbying that country to protect Microsoft. Peru has been planning a decree to use only open source software in its government systems-- a movement around developing nation governments that petrifies Bill Gates. Enter the lapdog Bush administration.

Don your tinfoil hat but I am betting that the JD cut a deal with M$ that lets them live so long as they build a back door into their OS for the spies to have easy access to the files.
