Genoa Protesters Framed by Police
Some may remember the violence in Genoa during the G-8 summit held there last summer. But most of the arrests were of non-violent protesters. What is becoming clear is that the mass arrests were, according to testimony by police officers themselves, based on planting evidence to frame and defame the movement leaders.
The fact remains that the global justice protests have generally included tens of thousands of non-violent protesters along with a handful of nasty thugs and cops both interfering with the peaceful message highlighting corporate abuses around the world.
