Lies About Feminism
Alas, a Blog has a great post about how conservatives, now in horror at patriarchal oppression by Islamic sharia, are spreading the lie that feminists never voiced concern about non-Western oppression of women.
Thank god for search engines as Alas compares interest in sharia to, say, golfing at Augusta and shows convincingly that feminists were worried about sharia when such worries weren't cool (or useful or driving murderous war in the Middle East.)
