Some Israeli Moral Sanity
With a dose of moral judgement and a bit of backbone by the Labor Party, the Israeli cabinet has shelved legislation to ban Israeli Arab home purchases on government-owned land. The fate of the bill sort of encapsulates why Israeli is so racially problematic as a government, yet also admirable at times as a democratic outpost in the region.
